REQUIREMENTS:

1. GRADE 7 STUDENTS HAVE TO BRING THEIR GRADE SIX REPORT CARD.

2. BIRTH CERTIFICATE

3.2 PASSPORT PHOTOS

4. PAY 100,000 BIF TO THE BANK , NON REFUNDABLE .

5. OTHER CONTINUING CLASSES NEED TO BRING REPORT CARDS OF THE PREVIOUS YEARS FROM GRADE 7, 3 PASSPORT PHOTOS, BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND ALSO PAY 100,000 BIF.

Admission into Gitega International Academy takes place after a student who had previously applied, has been approved of having the necessary requirements to become part of the GIA community.

Applications are welcome all through the year. Interviews are scheduled and organized by the administration and communicated to the parents accordingly.

Tuition Payment Schedule 2023/2024

Grade 7-9 : The annual payment is : 4,700,000 BIF , say 2,350,000 BIF per Semester .

Payable as follows:

First Term

1st Installment ( school Opening day ) : 1,500,000 BIF
2nd Period ( Early November ) : 850,000 BIF

Second Term

1st Installment ( after Christmas Vacation ) : 1,500,000 BIF
2nd period ( Early March ) : 850,000 BIF

Grade 10-12 : The annual payment is : 4,900,000 BIF , say 2,450,000 BIF per Semester.

Payable as follows:

First Term

1st Installment ( school Opening day ) : 1,500,000 BIF
2nd Period ( Early November ) : 950,000 BIF

Second Term

1st Installment ( after Christmas Vacation ) : 1,500,000 BIF
2nd period ( Early March ) : 950,000BIF

N/B: Student registration fees equal 100,000 BIF ( non-refundable fees if a new comer )

School Uniforms

School uniforms are supplied and purchased on Campus with the total costs of 294,000BIF (minimum).

1. White Shirt : 35,000 BIF X 2 = 70,000 BIF
2. Pull over : 35,000 BIF X2 = 70,000 BIF
3. Pant/ Skirt : 35,000 BIF X2 = 70,000 BIF
4. Tie : 20,000 BIF X2 = 40,000 BIF
5. Socks : 12,000 x 2 = 24,000 BIF
6. School Logo : 10,000 x2 = 20,000 BIF
